Exhibiting at “Mirai Walkers ★ UBE”

October, 2021

The UBE Group set up a booth at the “Mirai Walkers ★ UBE” career information event held at Tawarada Gymnasium in Ube City.

The Nylon Development Department and the Ube Corporate Service Department jointly delivered a presentation entitled, “Let’s Learn about Product Development.”

By touching and experimenting with various types of nylon with different properties, visitors were able to learn a little about materials and manufacturing. Approximately 1,250 second-year (grade 8) junior high school students from 12 local schools visited the venue over two days, and about 250 students participated in the hands-on learning at the UBE booth. Through this event, the UBE Group was able to share its business activities with many junior high school students, while highlighting the importance of thinking about their future careers.
