The UBE Group was involved in a career education seminar at Kogai Elementary School in Minato Ward, Tokyo. The purpose of the seminar is to help elementary school students discover the importance of work and having a dream. Staff from the Frontier Technology Research Laboratory of Ube Industries taught students how to use clear polyethylene and a polarizing plate to split light into different colors, and make their own kaleidoscopes.
